What is a Herbal Green Peel?

More than 60 years ago, Renowned German dermatologist Dr. Christine Schrammek provided the foundation for the original GREEN PEEL® Herbal Peeling treatment which helps people with various skin problems to get a clean and even skin. Herbal Green Peel is a biologically based method for skin peeling with exclusively natural plant ingredients. The Green Peel compound contains herbal extracts, algae, minerals, enzymes and vitamins, which begin exfoliating and polishing the upper layers of skin inducing increased regeneration of the skin and activating production of new cells and collagen fibers. At the same time, it increases blood circulation and also improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the skin, while intensifying the skin’s metabolism. Green Peel treatments can be used repeatedly without any harmful side effects, even on sensitive skin or darker skin tones. This treatment can be used on the face, back, stomach, upper arms and thighs.

During the herbal massage, the upper layers of the epidermis are removed, blood circulation, oxygen supply as well as metabolism are increased and regeneration processes are stimulated. Is the Green Peel Treatment Painful?

During the treatment the GREEN PEEL® Herbs are massaged into the skin. Depending on massage pressure and consistency of the skin, this can involve sparkling and prickling, but no pain. At the utmost the herbal massage can be slightly uncomfortable. This can’t be considered a relaxing treatment, but it is well bearable.

What is the downtime after a treatment?

There is minimal downtime for this treatment, during the peeling process. The skin starts to peel on the 3rd day after the treatment. On day 5, after the mandatory Beauty Finish treatment, the peeling process is mostly completed. If you prefer not to be seen in public during the peeling process, you should schedule the GREEN PEEL® Herbal Peeling treatment for a Wednesday, so the peeling process will take place over the weekend. The post-treatment will follow on Monday then and downtime (if any) is minimized. The strength of the skin peeling depends on each individual's skin condition, some people experience a light peeling and other a thick heavy peeling.
