Permanent Make-Up

Permanent make-up is a cosmetic
technique, which employs permanent
pigmentation of the skin.

It is used to correct facial asymmetries by producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eye lining, lip lining, full lip color and enhancement of sparse lash lines. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of old age, disease, alopecia, chemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance. It can also be used to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo or burns. Furthermore, it can be used to restore or enhance the breast's areola, such as after breast surgery. The benefit of permanent make up is that it enhances distinctive features and natural beauty. It is an alternative for individuals allergic to cosmetics or individuals who don't want to wear makeup. It saves time and money spent on cosmetics and gives the convenience of makeup that won't smear.

Permanent make-up uses specially designed pigments for micro pigmentation into the skin, by means of a tiny, sterile, disposable needle. A very effective topical anesthetic is used to numb the area to eliminate any pain or discomfort. All equipment and instruments used for permanent makeup are sanitized. Disposable and sterile needles and accessories are wrapped individually and surgical gloves are used at all times.
